Wat Pho is a Buddhist temple in Bangkok and counts as the place where traditional Thai massage began. Attached to that temple is a school, the Wat Po Thai Traditional Medical School, which is regarded worldwide as the institute for this form of massage. That is where I did my training, together with the Chetawan school that is connected to Wat Pho.

What that means in practice
The traditional Thai massage, the oil massage, the aroma massage and the foot massage I give are therefore all four learned in Bangkok, at the school these techniques come from. Not a weekend course in the Netherlands, but the training at source.
