These are the questions clients ask me most often. If yours is not here, call 030 877 6157 or send the contact form.
Do you also give massages to men?
No, I give massages to women only.
Can I book online?
No, and that is deliberate. I take bookings by phone or through the contact form, so that I can set aside the time each client needs. Call 030 877 6157 or send the contact form.
How late can I come?
Until 8 pm on weekdays and until noon on Saturday. I am closed on Sunday. All the hours are under opening times.
Is there parking?
Yes. Street parking is free and there is almost always a space in front of the door. The route is on a separate page.
Will I be lying on a mat on the floor?
No. You lie on a firm mattress on a proper massage table. The table is heated and the studio is air conditioned, so it is never too warm or too cold. For a head, shoulder and neck massage a special chair can also be used, which is called a chair massage.
What should I wear?
For a traditional Thai massage you keep your clothes on; loose trousers and a T-shirt are the most comfortable. If you have not brought any, I will lend you something. For an oil massage or aroma massage you lie under a towel, and only the part I am working on is uncovered.
Can I have a massage while pregnant?
No. I do not give massage during pregnancy, because the pressure my treatments involve is not suitable then. Other points to consider are under medical indications.
Can I buy a gift voucher?
Yes. A gift voucher can be collected by appointment within the normal opening hours. If you would rather not come and pick it up, I can post it to you; there is a € 3 charge for administration and postage. The voucher is sent once the payment has come in.
Where is the studio?
At Voreneng 30 in Vleuten, in the municipality of Utrecht. Vleuterweide, Leidsche Rijn and De Meern are just around the corner, and from the rest of Utrecht it is about a quarter of an hour by car.
What complaints can I come with?
Most women come with a stiff neck or shoulders, back trouble after a lot of sitting, headaches that start in the neck, or heavy legs. If you are not sure which treatment fits, give me a call and we will work it out together. There is an overview under treatments.
Can I come to you with stiff muscles, knots or frequent headaches?
Yes. Some of my clients arrive with a complaint rather than to relax: stiff thighs after a run, a neck that has locked up, hard spots in the shoulders, or frequent headaches. I work through those with pressure and stretch, and most people move more easily afterwards. For headaches and migraine this is what clients themselves experience and not a treatment. If you have an injury or a complaint that will not go away, see your doctor or a physiotherapist first. There is more about this on the medical indications page.
